Introducing our next BESS asset in Döbeln, Saxony.

Following our Lohsa (8MW/16MWh) and Altencelle (15MW/30MWh) Ready to Build announcements, we’re excited to share that another grid-scale battery storage project has reached this major milestone—our 15MW/30MWh project in Döbeln, Saxony!

With all approvals secured, we’re set to begin construction soon, further expanding our storage portfolio and reinforcing Germany’s energy infrastructure.

🔋 Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology
📆 Planned COD (commercial operation date): Late 2025

As part of unlocking the full potential of battery storage, we aggregate and virtualize both our own and third-party storage systems through a cloud-like platform, offering energy flexibility “as-a-service.” This allows customers to access flexibility without the need to develop, build, finance, and operate their own storage systems, while asset owners benefit from access to the best flexibility buyers in the market.
