Construction Update: Untersteinach, Bavaria

Berlin, 12 March 2025 – Construction update of battery storage project in Untersteinach, Bavaria

Exciting progress on our grid-scale battery energy storage project in Untersteinach! Construction is moving forward as planned, with the battery components now all installed, bringing us one step closer to delivering 10.4MW / 22.0MWh of flexible energy capacity to the grid.

Each milestone in this project contributes to strengthening Germany’s renewable energy infrastructure. Once operational, the battery storage system will be fully integrated into our terralayr flexibility platform and help integrate more renewable power, reduce grid congestion, and enhance energy security.

A big thank you to our partners Bayernwerk and be.storaged GmbH for their ongoing support in making this happen!
