Berlin, 5 June 2025 - Team news: Ralf Bernhard joins terralayr as Head of Origination

We’re excited to welcome a new team member: Ralf Bernhard has joined us this week as Head of Origination. He will lead our efforts in origination and offtake of flexible capacity through our LAYR flexibility platform.

Before joining terralayr, Ralf led the Renewable Power Origination for Germany at bp in London. Prior to that, he was Senior Originator Renewables at ENGIE, where he spearheaded the downstream corporate PPA strategy and execution. His work included landmark deals with high-profile clients such as Google, for whom he originated and structured the first supply agreement in Europe guaranteeing 24/7 physical green power.

Together, we’re looking forward to expanding our energy flexibility-on-demand offering to customer groups including large corporate offtakers and hyperscalers.
